Framing is a very important technique when setting up a shot. The position of a subject within the frame can play a huge part in building a relationship to the viewer, or completely distract from your content when done wrong.

The full shot is a full body shot from head to toe, including a lot of background and the subject’s surroundings. This shot can establish the subject, but might also be used to show other people or objects the main subject is going to interact with.
